At TreasuredScrapbooking.com, the We Love Our Members Contest finished last night and the final week’s LOs are being judged by the DT.  Look for the winner to be announced sometime early next week.  I can’t wait to see who wins the awesome Grand Prize!

We Love Our Members Feb Contest @ TS (Wk 2)

I’ve decided to play along with the weekly challenges during this contest.  The week 2 challenge at Treasured Scrapbooking (Feb 8-14) was:

Week 2- Be Mine Challenge
Use a sentiment from a candy heart as the title of a layout. This layout must include ONLY 3 photos (you may not use professional photography shots) and a minimum of 3 hearts, each one of a different texture (felt, chipboard, glitter, fabric, etc.)

This month, I received the TS Kit #1 to create with – it includes papers from Scenic Route (Loveland line), Reminisce (Live Out Loud), Love Elsie (Zoe), Cherry Arte, KI Memories (Pop Culture), and lots of fun embellishments. Here’s my second kit design being revealed today.

I’ve decided to play along with the weekly challenges during this contest.  The week 1 challenge at Treasured Scrapbooking (Feb 1-7) was:

Love Story Challenge
We all love a good love story and a happy ending. Your first challenge is to scrap someone’s love story (a husband/wife, mother/child, pet/pet owner, etc.). This layout must have journaling- a minimum of 50 words. And you must use a love song/romantic movie title on your layout as either the title, a subtitle, or in the journaling. I have provided some titles for you to choose from, or feel free to choose one of your own.

Scrappy Saturdays Are the Best! February 10, 2008

I spent the day scrapping at Scrap Chic with Laura, Jessica, and Veronica.  I worked on a couple of LOs for Treasured Scrapbooking’s We Love Our Members Contest – I decided to play along with the weekly challenges this month – and also worked on February Atlanta Peas Challenge Blog challenges.

I’ve got some final touches to put on the LOs, so will post them when they are complete.

The highlight of the day was Laura got her hair cut and has 12″ to donate to Locks of Love. WTG, Laura, it takes a long time to grow 12″ of hair and someone will benefit greatly from your caring donation!  Hmm, not to mention that Laura now has a very chic hairstyle!

Secret Valentine Swap @ TS February 6, 2008

I’ve already got plans for some of this stuff – can’t wait to use it.

Atlanta Peas Crop @ Archivers February 3, 2008

I had so much fun scrapping with Jessica, Laura, and all our Atlanta Pea friends yesterday!  Amongst all the chatting and shopping, I managed to create three LOs and a card.  Hope to be able to show you more designs soon.
